RBC Technology Group’s long history with Ricoh Australia
RBC Technology Group has a rich heritage in providing market-leading printer and photocopier solutions to the Australian market since 1975 and has proudly sold Ricoh Australia products for almost 40 years.
While we continue to acknowledge our printing roots, four years ago RBC Technology Group made a conscious decision to form a strategic partnership with Hewlett Packard Australia (HP) in a move to diversify from a printing company to a true technology solutions provider.
A new strategic direction for RBC Technology Group
As part of RBC Technology Group’s new strategic direction, we recently parted ways with our long-time print supplier, Ricoh Australia.
RBC Technology Group and Ricoh Australia have by mutual agreement decided to part ways, citing different short and long-term business directions as reasons for the change.
Ricoh Australia has been a long-term strategic partner for RBC Technology Group, allowing us to grow significantly over many years to become the largest privately managed print provider in Australia.
RBC Technology Group would like to thank the current and former Ricoh Australia leadership for their support and commitment to the dealer community.
RBC Technology Group will continue to support Ricoh Australia products
RBC Technology Group still plans to maintain a strong working relationship with Ricoh Australia, as we have thousands of devices in the field that our organisation will continue to support and supply.
Our Managed Print Services will still be offered by RBC Technology Group to all businesses in both Australia and New Zealand, and all current clients will remain fully supported by RBC Technology Group.

Our alignment with HP, the world’s largest provider of print and technology solutions, is an exciting next step on the RBC Technology Group journey.
RBC Technology Group can now venture into new areas our clients have been asking for, allowing us to provide a higher level of innovation in areas of focus such as IT services, security, automation and 3D printing.
RBC Technology Group’s investment into its ‘Docs2me’ automation platform, APPS Development, and Managed IT Service platforms, ‘IP2me’, will be strategic areas focus over the short and long-term.
