On June 17, 2024, an unexpected outage occurred, impacting our service accessibility.
We quickly identified the cause as a non-malicious service technician who incorrectly authenticated our network, leading to security appliances blocking outbound communication with our data centre.
The incident was identified and managed immediately, resulting in only a small number of users impacted. Those impacted experienced inability to access CIF files (internal shared drives and customer shares), process documents in the Docs2me platform, and login/access files in the File2me platform for a short period of time.
We have taken immediate measures to ensure such errors are mitigated. Additionally, we are further enhancing our monitoring capabilities to ensure such incidents can be identified promptly and acted upon.
