RBC Technology Group and UNICOM Global division Macro 4 partner to offer business process automation solution in Australia and New Zealand

UNICOM Global Macro 4 Partners With RBC Technology Group

Macro 4, a division of UNICOM Global, is announcing a new strategic partnership with RBC Business Solutions Pty Ltd in Australia. Under the agreement, the Australian company will integrate Macro 4’s technology to create a complete business process automation solution that will be offered to its existing and new customers throughout Australia and New Zealand.

RBC Technology Group, one of Australia’s largest independent and privately owned technology integrators, will integrate Macro 4’s Columbus enterprise information management (EIM) suite into its own docs2me business automation platform, a cloud-native, end-to-end application that automates the flow of work to optimize a variety of business processes.

David Wheeler, RBC Technology Group Managing Director, says, “This is a major step for RBC Technology Group as we expand our technology platform in the Asia Pacific Region. This partnership will allow our customers to take control of their data and control the document lifecycle, providing them with efficiency and security benefits.”

Docs2me delivers document and workflow automation that is easy to implement, configure, use and modify. Its automation capabilities increase productivity, shorten cycle times, improve compliance and control critical corporate content. Columbus will add the capability to capture, manage and deliver a wider range of enterprise content – such as outbound bills, statements and correspondence – as well as creating personalized documents at volume.

Luke Bartlett, RBC Solutions Director, says, “We are excited about how Columbus will augment and extend the RBC business automation platform. It will allow us to offer customers an automated business process solution that streamlines processes and workflow around outbound documents and data as well as inbound documents throughout the entire business process and customer communications cycle. Columbus provides an easy way for us to deliver electronic presentment via the web, email and mobile devices, as well as compliant document retention and information lifecycle management. All of this comes with the reassurance that we’re working with a truly scalable and globally proven solution.”

Columbus, Macro 4’s cross-platform EIM suite, enables companies to implement digital transformation initiatives quickly, personalize customer communications and unlock the value of their corporate content. The Columbus suite encompasses enterprise content management, output management, intelligent document composition and embedded business intelligence. A non-invasive solution, requiring no changes to existing applications, Columbus provides a fast and painless implementation timeline and ROI realization.

Diccon Grayling, Macro 4 Partner Manager, says, “The strategic partnership with such a high profile and established company as RBC Technology Group presents a fantastic opportunity for both parties. This is one of those occasions where there is perfect alignment between two companies in the same market – each bringing their own set of skills, knowledge, solutions and expertise to combine to offer the customer a truly exceptional and very relevant business solution.”
